The problem it solves
A language model writes a perfectly good letter. What it cannot do is set one: the addresses, place and date an official letter carries, or the numbered clauses of an agreement with a signature place for each party on its own page. So the text is pasted into a word processor, and the layout becomes somebody's afternoon.
Doksi checks before it typesets. Each kind has details it requires, and an official letter can take a purpose — an application, a complaint, a reminder, a request, a resignation or a termination — that adds its own: a request needs a date to answer by, a termination an effective date and a notice period. Whatever is missing goes back to your assistant as a precise list of what to fix, every problem at once, rather than coming out as a document with a hole in it.
Then the signatures. Each signer gets their own link or QR code and signs on a phone or a computer with no account and no app, and your assistant produces the PDF with every signature in its assigned place. Signing is optional, and capturing a signature does not verify who signed.

Questions people ask first
What is Doksi?
Doksi is a document service from Publifye AS. It speaks the Model Context Protocol, so the AI assistant you already use can ask what a kind of document requires, check the content and typeset it as a PDF: personal and official letters, notices, agreements, covenants, checklists, meeting agendas and schedules.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Doksi is an MCP server, so it plugs into an assistant that supports MCP, such as Claude. You add one URL and sign in with a Publifye account. The people who sign need nothing at all — no account and no app.
Can it make invoices or receipts?
No. Doksi makes correspondence, agreements and planning documents. Invoices and receipts are money documents, and they belong to a different service.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. A free Publifye account includes 40 calls a day, with no card and no expiry. A call is one operation, not one finished document, and the allowance resets at midnight UTC. Current plans are on the Doksi site.
How do people sign?
Your assistant creates a signing request for each named person. Share their link or QR code, or let them sign on your device; a link stays open for 25 minutes. Doksi places each signature in its assigned space and shows who has finished. Letters, notices, agreements and covenants can be signed.
Does Doksi check what the document says?
It checks the structure, not the truth. Doksi refuses a document that lacks a detail its kind requires, and refuses an unknown building block by name rather than quietly dropping it. The names, facts and wording are still yours to review before you share it.
